Mindfulness is the practice of focusing your awareness in the present moment while acknowledging and accepting your thoughts and feelings. It is used as a way to be more present and overcome un-resourceful thoughts and feelings.
Mindfulness increases self-compassion, acceptance, and understanding by improving self-control and objectivity. It is an active way of life that can be learned, embraced, and experienced. Don’t spend life obsessing over the past or worrying about the future – live in the now.
Take a breath and open your heart to learning the practice of mindfulness.
As a certified Mindfulness Meditation Teacher, I offer individual and group mindfulness and practices.
