It is said a basic human need is to feel significant.  And, if we accept this truth, who would we follow – Mother Teresa or other?

Mother Teresa decided her significance would come from within.   She choose acts of kindness, compassion and love to determine her significance.  Others decided it would come from outside themselves – the number of possessions acquired, places traveled, songs sung, houses owned, etc.

If we choose our significance from outside sources, we are almost always disappointment.   Why, because the only people, places and things that can truly determine how significant we feel is OURSELVES.

How we feel about ourselves will not shift dramatically because of what we can buy or how many accolades we receive.   Our significance shifts when it comes from within – how we feel, what we see and say and hear when no one or nothing is around.  Look then Listen!
