When we find negative thinking taking us down the rabbit hole, step by step, thought by thought, deeper and deeper, change your physiology and ask:

  • What time is it?   Now
  • What time will it be in one hour?   Now
  • What time will it be tomorrow or the day after?   Now

When we change our physical bodies,  standing, sitting, stretching, etc., asking questions, we interrupt thoughts of yesterday’s should haves and tomorrow’s fears.     Now is the only moment we have.  Living in the now will keep us from going down the rabbit hole of destructive thinking.
